Sony Vaio netbook to launch at CES

Well, don’t say we didn’t warn you. A couple of week back we mentioned that a Sony Vaio netbook had been sneakily-snapped during testing, with a launch expected at the 2009 CES. And now that launch has been confirmed.
Sony is running a teaser site on its New Zealand website, promising to ‘change the way you look at laptops. Forever’. The date of this life-changing announcement is 9th January at the CES in Las Vegas, where we’ll no doubt be shown a glossy black Windows-powered netbook that’s just a little bit smaller than the average, with some nifty design to fit in the keyboard and trackball, along with at least a couple of killer features to hit the competition for six.
We’ll put money on these features breaking cover before the official announcement. In the meantime, enter the competition to win one - just as long as you live in New Zealand. Or get saving, as we suspect this isn’t going to the competition for cheapest netbook.
