Humax launches Foxsat-HDR recorder

We’re not expecting HD over Freeview any time soon, but if you don’t mind a dish on your house, Freesat is the way to go for high-def without the high monthly subscription fee. Once you’ve got that sorted, the newly-launched Humax Foxsat-HDR recorder will make sure you don’t miss any of your favourite shows.
Two digital tuners offer up the option of recording two Freesat channels at the same time. And you don’t need to worry about space - the 320GB hard drive will have 80 hours of high-definition programming covered (200 if you record in standard). Throw in a few tricks like series recording, live pause and rewind, split recording (for two-part movies) and schedule tracking (for overrun shows) and you’ll never miss a minute of that freebie HD. Not a bad looker either, if that kind of thing is important to you.
If you fancy going down the Freesat route, the Foxsat-HDR should cost you around £299 when it hits the shelves in mid-November.
