Electrolux Trilobite 2.0 robotic vacuum cleaner launches

Too busy to clean? Well, if you have a grand to spare, we have the solution - the Electrolux Trilobite 2.0.

The Trilobite 2.0 is Electrolux’s latest robo-cleaner, promising a thorough vac of the house, just as long as you have an apartment or bungalow. You see, like one of Dr Who’s Daleks, it can’t get upstairs. And it can’t move obstructions out of the way. So as long as you live in a minimalist one-floor home, you’ll be fine.

And if you do, you can watch in amazement as this modern-day Metal Mickey navigates that single floor via ultrasound, using a gold-plated sonor to clean at any of three settings (one for a quick dash, three for a ‘mum’s coming round’ job). There’s also a programmable timer, should the novelty of watching wear off and a ‘return to home’ function when the cleaner needs a charge. Looks out for it in the coming weeks for that £1,000 price tag.
