Apple Rumours: NVIDIA show off MacBook Pro to staff

Workers at NVIDIA have apparently had their hands on the latest instalment of the Apple notebook with glowing appreciation for the new machine’s superior hardware prowess.

Sources claim the new model will get rid of Intel’s factory standard platform and replace it with components supplied by either Apple or an outside party.

A possible switch to a NVIDIA chipset commonly used for Intel-based notebooks, would give Apple faster video acceleration and more advanced power management.

Further speculation on a possible release date suggests that the notebooks could be available as soon as October 14th.

Where ever the truth lies, expectation for the latest MacBook is rife, and as 2008 has seen eight months without any updates to the range, the wait could soon be over.
