50 Cent: Blood on the Sands finds a publisher

According to the insanely egotistical voice in 50 Cent’s head, the man is some kind of soldier of fortune. We’ve never been convinced that a pampered gangster rapper represents all that is warlike about man (especially when said gangster rapper’s most famous hobby is being peppered with bullet holes), but Swordfish Studios are sure that good ol’ Curtis is just as capable at saving the world from terrorists as he is at manipulating the English language.

Oh dear.

Either way, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is the ridiculously titled sequel to Bulletproof, with the news here being that since being dropped into unpublishable obscurity by Activision’s merger with Vivendi, THQ has taken pity and picked it up for a November release on PS3 and XBox 360.

Players will take control of members of the G-unit as they… Oh we’ll just let you read the official plot summary for yourself. Because it’s mental:

“50 Cent and G-Unit have just played to a packed out crowd in a war-torn country. But when 50 tries to collect from the shifty promoter, he’s told that a local drug lord named Kamal has f**cked him over and stolen the box office receipts…”

Desert-themed death rightly ensues. We’re just looking forward to the prequel, Curtis Jackson: Human Colander.
