Samsung introduces BEAT range of handsets

Looks alone aren’t going to get your pulse racing, but the Motion Play system on both handsets just might. A simple tap, flip or shake can play/pause, mute your music or advance to the next track. Ok, it’s nothing revolutionary, but we love a bit of novelty.
With the BEATb, you also get enhanced audio via Samsung’s Digital Natural Sound engine, compatibility with MP3, WMA and AAC tracks a 2-inch screen and a 2MP camera packed into that candybar casing. The BEATs is a slider offering the same screen and camera, but upping the audio with a Bang & Olufsen ICEpower amplifier and stereo speaker. You could say it’s an MP3 player with phone rather that the other way round.
Expect both to be jostling for space on the racks in the next two months.
